I was wondering if anyone knew of an easy fix for making the list of servers on the left of the web page display alphabetically. I have them alphabetically in the dsc-grapher.cfg... I deleted all the server lines, and added each one back one at a time. About the 4th one down, it began to become randomized. Thanks for the help. Hi Josh, which version do you have? On December 2, 2008 I changed the grapher code so that it would preserve the ordering of servers from dsc-grapher.cfg. So that should be in the January 26, 2009 version. It was a simple patch so I can send that to you separately if you like. Duane W. Hi Catalin, I haven't seen that problem before. Usually the text is rendered in black on the white background. Do you see any errors or warnings in the web server "error.log"? The new version expects to find the incoming xml files in SERVER/NODE/incoming which isn't where the old version puts them, so our presenter stopped processing xml files. Looking into dsc-xml-extractor.pl I see that it still supports the old way of doing things. I've commented out the "test -d $NODE/incoming || continue;" line in refile-and-grok.sh and transactions have started being processed again. You may want to remove that test for the next version. Ah, thanks. I added that test because one of my presenters receives "pre-grokked" data and I wanted to skip those nodes. But I forgot that it breaks backward compatibility. DW
